AN AMAZING TRIP to KOREA
"We love the city because we are the city."
It was 10 PM, and we were waiting at the airport. I went along with 14 relatives. In total, there were 6 adults, and 8 teens/ children. Our flight was at 12:15 Am.
Time passes by. It was 12 Midnight and we are still waiting to board the airplane. We were half asleep, but we were excited be going to Korea. Finally, we got board on the airplane. I slept like a new born, until 4 AM.

Time passes by. It was 12 Midnight and we are still waiting to board the airplane. We were half asleep, but we were excited be going to Korea. Finally, we got board on the airplane. I slept like a new born, until 4 AM.
We arrived in Korea around 4 AM. We took a bus for 45 minutes to go to a place called Teddy Bear Farm. Our first stop in Korea.
When I walked on the Teddy Bear Farm, the first thing I saw was a bear that was around 6 feet tall!! It freaked me out! It was an amazing Teddy Bear Farm. There was more then 1000 Teddy bears on that farm! Bears of different sizes and shapes.
Then on the right, there was a Teddy Family. Look at the difference!!
I am hoping you can see the difference between the two families. Or else, you need to consult a doctor as soon as possible.
This is a Coex Aquarium. What it is basically, is something like a science museum, but this museum only contains fish.
The fish are displayed in creative ways, such as putting them into a toilet bowl, fire extinguisher, piano or television. There was one part of the expedition, where we were allowed to touch the fishes, and feed them. I didn't touch it, because I am scared of all animals!
This was where I stayed in during Korea. They don't sleep in beds, they sleep in something called the Ta Ta Mi. Ta Ta Mi is basically sleeping on the a floor with a heater specially added in so you will be toasty warm through the night. The warmth from the ground make me feel cozy like I was sleeping at my home in Hong Kong.
Looking outside my window, the country(Korea) looked dirty but friendly. Refusing to believe this, I took a walk at the ground floor in my hotel, all I saw was people Yum Cha. That is basically Hong Kong style. Except, they had Kim Chi with Yum Cha. Chinese don't.
When we were in Korea, the weather was getting warmer, and the ice was starting to melt. We were not allowed to Ski, but they allow us to take pictures, and play around with the snow. We couldn't ski, but we got the whole place to our self, which was AWESOME!
Then we rode on the tram and got up to the tallest part of the slope, and it was freezing up there.
It was freezing, and we had gloves on, so I didn't felt the ice. But when you first step on the ice, it seems soggy. The higher you are, the ice tends to get harder.
On the last day, we stopped by the Kim Chi School where we learned to make Kim Chi 김치. We had the choice of either taking our homemade Kim Chi along with us or leave it behind for the school.
If you decided to leaving it in the school, the school will simply take the Kim Chi and give it to the poor in Korea.
I didn't eat the Kim Chi that I made, but when you eat the Kim Chi at stores, they are all different, because they are all homemade, some where extremely spicy, some where just soggy.
When I did my Kim Chi, all the ingredient was already done for us, the step we had to do, was just to put the sauce in to the vegetable they gave us.
Afterward, Kim Chi School had Korea outfits for us to try on. Trying it on, wasn't really hard afterward, it was pretty easy. It looks hard, but it is as simple as wearing Qi Pao.Qi Pao is basically what we wear in Chinese New Year.
When we arrived back in Hong Kong, we had a total 18 pieces of luggage. It was difficult to bring it all home, because we live 2 hours away from the airport.
But it was all worth it in the end.The laughter, the fun, the joy, and the time I spent with my family and cousins. A memory that I will remember, and never regret.
It was the best trip ever!
